ExperienceHello! I can help you if you are a college student or high school student struggling in your literature classes, or if you are trying to become a better writer. Below you will find a list of my awards, publications and academic presentations to help you decide whether I meet your qualifications. However, what these resume lines don't show is the care that I take with each student to tailor my sessions to the needs of the student. For example: if you are in the beginning stages of a paper we can work on ideas and structuring your paper, or if you have a paper which you want to do final edits on to strengthen the language, we can do that too. I specialize in reading comprehension, academic and creative writing, study skills, poetry analysis and veterans acclimation to academia. I am sincerely passionate about helping students think more critically about language and how it shapes perception and culture. My personal academic research focuses on trauma, poetry and the military experience.
